There are so many diverse functions of the role of social workers. There is degree in social work. But broadly the existence of the social workers carries out the mandate in accordance with their respective functions. The tasks commonly performed in the field are as follows.

• Facilitators

Social workers, who become facilitators in charge of doing acts which are closely related in terms of providing opportunities, boost morale, and the support for the livelihood of the community. Through the facilitator, the problem people will have the kind of model that will bridge them on the expected solution.

• Educators

Social workers also should be able to make themselves as an educator. In what sense is not a teacher, but teaches things that are as long as this is not true in the community. Social workers must turn themselves in providing positive input and directly based on their ability. One of the tasks of social workers as education is capable of conveying information, building a collective awareness, proper training and held a benefit to society, and even be able to do confrontation. • Mediator

Again, the social worker should be able to be a mediator in the two groups to bridge the social problems that lead to conflict. They were what is called the third group. • Mentoring

Mentoring is not only done solely to accommodate the aspirations of the community problems. But more than that, the duty of a social worker as a companion society is very broad in scope. The companion must be able to establish a harmonious relationship with the institutions supporting public interest. The commonly performed tasks are to trace the source of potential, to prepare a defense, to embrace the media, and expanding networking.
